I would call that fraud.

I ordered a racket through the Padel Racquet Thailand website, using a Thai URL and a Thai email address. Nothing indicated that the site wasn't located in Thailand.

But once the order was placed, I received a shipping notification from the Australian postal service.

When I checked my order status, I was redirected to the Australian Racquet website. I realized that I had ordered from Australia and that, in addition to waiting more than 10 days for my racket, I would also have to pay taxes.
At no point was I informed that I was making a purchase from abroad. It only states in the terms and conditions that taxes apply to foreign countries. But I remind you that I am on a website with a Thai URL (.th).
I usually order my rackets from a Spanish website. I received my rackets in less than 5 days with taxes paid directly via UPS. I would have done it if I hadn't been led to believe I was ordering from a Thai website. So I'm furious. The positive reviews and happy customers about the fast shipping only come from Australian customers who received a package locally. Very disappointing. I'm not the only one on my island who's been tricked. Fortunately, the word is getting around, and disappointed customers are sharing their opinions. Terrible.

Great Racket! Very easy on the wrist. If anyone's looking to get a racket that helps you get that extra spin while playing your shots with precision, I think this would be the best buy.
